Maddy is currently in her first year at Lincoln University, studying a Bachelor of Agricultural Science Degree.
NZ Young Farmers Involvement:
Maddy completed the In2 the Field Programme in 2012, spending a day with LIC agent Millie Vlockman. She was a volunteer at the 2013 Get Ahead Career Experience Day, and a judge for the 2013 Aorangi Regional Finals of TeenAg and AgriKidsNZ. She is currently a member of the Lincoln Young Farmers Club.
"My involvement in the NZ Young Farmers programmes has made me more interested in the animal side of Agriculture. I would love a job that's involved in or around Young Farmers."
At the moment the plan is just for Maddy to complete her Bachelor of Agricultural Science Degree with a Major in Animal Science and a Minor in Plant Science.
The greatest influence on Maddy's career decision to date was the Lincoln University Open Day.
