In2 the Field Mentor Programme
If you've got a bit of an idea about the sort of career you want to have, the In2 the Field mentor programme can set you up with a young mentor from the agriculture industry - often this introduction can lead to work experience opportunities.
- In2 the Field is a distance one-on-one mentoring programme. You just need to be willing to communicate with your industry mentor - you can keep in touch anyway you like: text, phone, email or even Facebook!
- It doesn't matter what area of agriculture you're interested in, In2 the Field covers all aspects of the industry; Science, business and hands-on. It is not time consuming and can give purpose to your academic studies by helping you formulate a career goal to aspire to.
- In2 the Field can assist your school in identifying future work experience opportunities through existing programmes such as Gateway or Primary Industry Trades Academies (currently under development).
